Our Values

See what drives our approach

Fundamentals.

Learn all the theory that is relevant to the UCAT as well as how to best plan out and optimise your UCAT preparation. First understand all the various question types and then cover the techniques used to approach each one to build a sturdy foundation on which to base your UCAT preparation.

Application.

Further develop your  accuracy by working through multiple problem-based learning  workshops and weekly workshops with tutors there every step of the way to help refine your approaches and strategies. You’ll cover 1000s of questions across all difficulties and timing strategies.

Simulation.

Work through numerous mock exams to develop your time management skills and endurance. The mock exams are designed to mimic the UCAT completely, from the difficulty of questions to the equipment provided. Each simulated exam is coupled with live review classes to address the trickiest questions and discuss appropriate strategies and approaches.

Mentoring.

One of the most well-received parts of the Fraser’s course, mentoring helps you achieve your UCAT goals alongside any life and high school goals. Undertake weekly group-based or 1-on-1 mentoring with a medical or dental student who has been through it all and can provide raw, personal advice and guidance to you.

Product Lead | Erin Khaw

Hello! My name is Erin, and I’m the Product Lead at Fraser’s UCAT. I’m a medical student at the University of New South Wales going through my final clinical years. Having sat the UCAT twice, I’ve had the opportunity to review my own personal strategies, and understand that reflection, as well as consistent practice is the key to succeeding in the UCAT! I understand the importance of discussing ideas with peers in a supportive environment, and encourage students to partake in such sessions throughout their practice. Students have been able to gain clarity on their strategies, understand approaches in greater detail and overall increase their question accuracy. With a multitude of sessions and workshops run by Frasers, students entering this new UCAT season will learn all the skills necessary for their success!”

Academic Lead | Daniel Tran

I’ve been tutoring across all sections of the UCAT since 2019 and I was the previous lead tutor for the Quantitative Reasoning section of the UCAT, having sat the UCAT three times and scoring a perfect 900 for Quantitative Reasoning twice. I’m a current postgraduate medicine student at the University of Melbourne but also previously received undergraduate medicine offers after sitting the UCAT. Outside of university and tutoring, I also enjoy sports and music, and my favourite music to listen to is Queen!

SJT Lead Tutor | Amy Langdon

My name is Amy and I am a medical student at Flinders University in Adelaide. I am currently in my sixth year of the Bachelor of Clinical Sciences/Doctor of Medicine course, and my fourth year of the MD program. I am the lead for the Situational Judgment section of UCAT. My passion for the Situational Judgement Test stems from its ability to evaluate a student’s judgment, professionalism, and ethical decision-making skills - traits that are vital for success in the medical field.

DM Lead Tutor | Thenul Perera Amaratunga

Hi everyone! My name is Thenul, and I am the lead Decision Making (DM) tutor at Fraser's. While I have recently taken on this role, I've been a part of the Fraser's team for the past 1.5 years, primarily focusing on tutoring DM and Quantitative Reasoning (QR). I find joy in the academic side of Fraser's and often tutor group workshops for both new and existing students. On another note, I began my journey in medicine in 2021, and currently, I am an MD1 student at Flinders University. When I'm not working or studying, I enjoy spending time with my loved ones and my dog, Carlo (or watching car videos on YouTube).

QR Lead Tutor | Timothy Rodrigues

Hey! My name is Tim, and I am the QR lead tutor here at Fraser's. I have been apart of the Fraser's team for over 1.5 years now and have thoroughly enjoyed my time working with our students and other tutors. I love teaching and guiding students to improve their logical and critical thinking, and maximizing their potential in the QR section of the UCAT. I strongly believe that Fraser's approach to teaching the UCAT is one that enables our students to develop their critical thinking ability, providing them the necessary skills to excel in the UCAT as well as other areas in life, especially in healthcare.

Outside of Fraser's I am currently in my third year of the Bachelor of Dental Surgery course at the University of Adelaide. I also enjoy traveling, watching movies, boxing, basketball, and spending time with my friends and family.

AR Lead Tutor | Kevin Phan

Hey everyone, my name is Kevin and I am the current AR lead tutor here at Fraser’s. I am currently a dental student at the University of Adelaide. Having sat the UCAT on my last year of high school and scoring a perfect score of 900 on AR, I particularly enjoy teaching the AR section. Specifically, I enjoy guiding students to maximise their success within abstract reasoning through providing a structured approach to be able strategies over a large variety of questions.

VR Lead | Krish Yadav

Hey there! My name is Krish and I'm the Verbal Reasoning Academic Lead tutor at Fraser's UCAT. I've been part of the Fraser's team since 2020 in the early days of our UCAT program, and am a current 4th year medical student at Western Sydney University. I sat the UCAT in the first year it was offered back in 2019, and have experience teaching verbal reasoning and situational judgment since then. I tailor my teaching and strategy delivery to match the strengths and weaknesses of each individual student. Outside of uni, Fraser's and highschool tutoring, I'm a massive Wikipedia nerd, a mediocre squash player, and a hideously unfit hiker.
